Flight to to the capital city are now on sale

EasyJet has launched new flights from London to Egypt. The airline has announced a new route from Luton Airport to Cairo that will operate three times a week.

What's more, the flights will launch just in time for the Christmas holiday, taking off from October 31, 2023. The route will operate all year round, so there is plenty of time for Londoners to capitalise on the new flightpath.

This is the first time easyJet will fly to Cairo, and will likely be in high-demand as the North African country is loved by holidaymakers. Cairo will be the airline's 157th short-haul destination.

The flights will take off on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays all year round. Londoners can jet off to Egypt to see the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the River Nile.

Cairo is also home to palaces, mosques, and museums, meaning there is plenty to explore. There is almost guaranteed sunshine, stunning sandy beaches, and coral reefs too.
